Believing that all individuals deserve to grow to their full potential, we support initiatives that offer persons with special needs opportunities to spread their wings
Committed to helping people with physical or mental challenges, Capital City Savings supports organizations that work to improve their quality of life. In addition to support for organizations such as Camp He Ho Ha, Canadian Paraplegic Association and the CNIB, we also invest in:
Special Olympics
The Capital City Savings Bowl for Special Olympics is a major fundraiser for Special Olympics Edmonton. The community is invited to enter bowling teams of four and each team is assigned a Special Olympian to join them for bowling. Team members collect pledges from family, friends and associates in an effort to raise funds for Special Olympics. For 30 years, Special Olympics has enabled athletes to develop not only physical ability, but the skills necessary to learn and work in the community. Capital City Savings supports their efforts to help people with mental disabilities build self-esteem and enhance their confidence.

EmployAbilities
For more than 40 years, EmployAbilities has helped promote and enhance employment and learning opportunities for individuals in the community with disabilities.
