Capital City Savings is helping students spread safety messages to loved ones in our rural communities through the Take Care! Safety Postcard Campaign.

Students in grades four to six were invited to design a postcard with a special safety message on it for someone they care about. Every student who submitted a postcard received a gift from Capital City Savings, and the branch staff chose the postcards that depicted the best safety message and/or illustration to be featured in ads and posters to promote safety in the community.

Safety messages will be featured in the local newspapers in Devon, Drayton Valley, Entwistle, Hinton, Lamont, Legal, Morinville, Mundare, Sangudo, Stony Plain and Wabamun during the month of September, reminding everyone to Take Care!

Capital City Savings will mail all the postcards during the autumn harvest, typically the most hazardous time of year for rural families. Check your local paper for the ads and your mailbox for a special safety postcard from a loved one in your life.
