Like tender young shoots in the forest, youth hold the promise of our future.
Projects that invest in youth are among Capital City Savings' top priorities. Some of the organizations and programs we support include:
Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake
The citizens of Fort McMurray open their hearts to community youth in this annual event, raising more than $40,000 for Fort McMurray Big Brothers. In addition to Capital City Savings' title sponsorship, local branch employees serve as volunteers.

Youth Emergency Shelter Society
Since 1982, Youth Emergency Shelter Society (YESS) has assisted more than 17,000 troubled youth and hundreds of families. By holding fundraising events such as the annual YESS Charity Golf Classic, which Capital City Savings supports, this organization is able to fund programs to give youth at risk a chance.

Leaders of Tomorrow Program
Beyond saying thank you for a job well done, public recognition of outstanding young volunteers focuses the spotlight on the excellent work youth do in our communities. Capital City Savings community branches proudly sponsor this annual presentation of awards to youth volunteers in Devon, Fort Saskatchewan, Lamont, Leduc, Spruce Grove, St. Albert and the Ukrainian community.
