Junior Jurassic

Good money management starts early - and we've developed a program for children 12 and under that makes saving money fun. Our Junior Jurassic Account rewards kids with special prizes as they watch their savings grow. Children can open their own account, or a parent or grandparent can open a trust account in their name. Exciting features of this account include:

  • Free quarterly statements to track the growth of your money
  • Free unlimited cash withdrawals
  • Daily interest savings account where interested is calculated on your daily closing balance and paid monthly

We offer a fixed monthly fee account that lets you make as many transactions as you're likely to need, and loans with low interest rates so you can concentrate on school, not how you're going to pay your bills. All full or part-time students in this age group are eligible to receive the following features of this account:

  • Free unlimited use of TeleService® - allows you to conduct your banking and pay bills using a touch-tone phone
  • Free unlimited Net Banking - allows you to conduct your banking and pay bills using your PC
  • Low monthly fee of $5.95
  • 20 free ATM withdrawals at any Capital City Savings or other Credit Union ATM or Interac direct payment transations
  • 5 free monthly withdrawals at ATMs other than Capital City Savings
  • 5 free inbranch withdrawals or bill payments
  • Monthly statements to track your transactions
  • Eligible to receive a Student MasterCard with no annual fee
