Corporate Community Investments
The members, Board of Directors and employees of Capital City Savings enthusiastically support our community investments. In 2005, we reviewed our existing Community Investment Guidelines and conducted a stakeholder survey of members, employees and Community Councils. They endorsed the following priority areas as our Community Investment Policy and Funding Guidelines:

Because we're more than branches, community contributions will always be a fundamental commitment for Capital City Savings. After all, our roots are here, and so is our future.
In 2002, Capital City Savings received the Edmonton Philanthropy Day "Outstanding Corporation" Award for our commitment and financial support of the community and for our encouragement and motivation of others to take leadership roles toward philanthropy and community involvement. This award is presented annually by the Association of Fundraising Professionals in celebration of philanthropy in our community.
Branch Community Investments
Being rooted in the community, each Capital City Savings branch supports neighbourhood efforts in addition to larger corporate sponsorships. Community associations, schools, youth camps, emergency services and 4H Clubs have all benefited from branch initiatives. Branches also sponsor minor sports at the community level, including soccer, hockey, curling, figure skating, baseball and football.
